Disinheritance Canard
i P.A. i WELLINGTON, This Day. "1 said yesterday that my statement concerning the disinheritance falsehood 'should convince and satisfy honest policy.' " said the Prime Minister (Mr Fraser) today.
“I repeat these words. 1 have nothing to add to them. I am not interested at the moment in criticism of any other kind. I am only concerned at present with nailing this particular disinheritance lie to the counter. I have done so, and have no time to chase every wild goose canard that is started by opponents.
"I have absolutely no objection to. and little interest in, any dilectic contortions. or controversial gymnastics, indulged in by National Party platform critics of the Government. They may serve a very useful entertainment purpose. They certainly give a lot of pleasure to performers and may even occasionally amuse audiences "
