Plaza Technicolour Hit
"Broadway Rhythm.” MGM’s newest colour film showing at the Plaza, is a gay and tuneful musical with George Murphy and beautiful Ginnv Simms in the leading roles. Murphy is cast as a successful Breadway producer who is in desperate need of a leading actress for his new production. When Ginny Simms comes along everything really goes gay. as laugh follows laugh. Featured are Tommy Dorsey and his well known orchestra, “Rochester” Anderson, Charles Winninger and Hazel Scott, who together form a superb comedy team.
