Increasing Interest In Raglan By-Election

(Special.) AUCKLAND. This Day There is increasing interest in the coming by-election for the Raglan seat following the death of Mr R. Coulter, the Labour member for the district.

National Party nominations for a candidate close on Friday.

It is believed that the president of the national executive of the Labour Party (Mr M. Moohan) will shortly visit the electorate to discuss the selection of a candidate. The Leader of the Democratic Labour Party (Mr J. A. Lee) had nothing to say yesterday about the possibility of a candidate for his party contesting the seat.
