Mosley Replies To Press Criticisms
LONDON, December 13,
Sir Oswald Mosley, former leader of the British Union of Fascists, replying to Press criticisms of the reunion meeting on Saturday, said: “Can anything surpass the impudent hypocrisy of politicians who supported the world war on the plea of preserving freedom of thought and speech and then made victory echo with demands for the suppression " of freedom in everyone except themselves.” Mosley added that some people were indignant because they no longer had Defence Regulation 188 to suppress ideas and arguments they could not answer in a fair debate. They preferred to shelter behind a policy of intimidation,
