Fire At Kawakawa
(Special.) KAWAKAWA' This Day. . Two rooms" were gutted and the contents lost when fire broke out in the residence of Mr W. Cherrington, of Kawakawa. The contents of the other rooms were removed by a large band of volunteers.
Other portions of the house yrere damaged superficially, but a good save y/as made by the Kawakawa Volunteer Fire Brigade, which quickly answered the call, but had a difficult fight, as the flames were fanned by a strong breeze. The house was insured.
