Britain Accepts Truman’s Twelve Points

Mr. Bevin announced in the House of Commons that Britain accepted Mr. Truman’s 12 points for the maintenance of world peace. Mr. Anthony Eden asked whether Mr. Bevin agreed that American participation in world affairs on the lines of the 12 points would he a valuable contribution to world peace. The Foreign Secretary replied that the more effective participation became, the belter.
