Regent’s “Winged Victory”
Story of the training of air cadets of the United States Army Air Force is contained in “Winged Victory." the new change at the Regent Theatre. Acting of a talented cast headed by Loh McAllister, Jeanne Crain. Edmund O’Brien and Jane Bali, fully justifies an excellent plot based upon actual occurrences during the war. Script for “Winged Victory” was written by Moss Hart, while production 'of the film was supervised by Darryl F. Zanuck, creator of many previous successes. Another famous name associated with the production is that of George Cukor, by whom it was directed Scenes of comedy, romance, suspense and sentiment recur throughout the film, which gives a clear insight into the thoroughness of the training- cf the average American nilot.
