Syrian. Govt. Resigns
LONDON, Aug. 24. Reuter reports the resignation of the Syrian Government which has ligid office since October, 1944, under Fayez El Khourey. also , the formation of a new Lebanese Government under Sami Solh in succession to Abdul Hamid Karemeh’s Ministry which resigned on August 20. The Syrian Government resigned because of opposition from a number of deputies.
