Gold Medallist. The Yearlings are mainly by “Dreaming Joker” and a son of “Reshure Nova Supreme,” with others by highly-recommended sires. This Stud has been established approx. 20 years, the stock and blood lines being well known to most breeders and dairymen. The stock are mostly descendants of those famous sires, “Ascot Prince” (11 c.o.r. daughters, five of whom won Gold Medal awards for production, one being 1000 fat and the others over 700 fat); “Soumise Tom,” c.b.b. (17 c.o.r. daughters). “Ascot Prince's” grand sire, holds the record for five highest producing daughters with an average of 798 fat, while “Ascot Prince” is a close second with his five daughters averaging 775 fat; “Waipiko Josiah” (11 c.o.r. daughters), introduces the blood of “Vivandiere,” v.h.c., c.0.r., 1036 fat as a 2-vear-old; “Dreaming Joker” (Imp.), personally selected by vendor, was imported from Jersey Island. Through his dam “Day Dream 50th” he inherits the famous “Day Dream” blood, probably the most prepotent family the Jersey breed has known during the last 40 years. “Joker’s” daughters show quality and their first classification shows four v.h.c., while under test are expected to approx. 7001 b. fat. “Dreaming Joker’s" full-brother, “Dreaming Jock,” was imported to America and has been declared a Gold and Silver Medal sire with 23 c.o.r. daughters. There are 22 sons of “Dreaming Joker” in the catalogue and 18 sons of “Reshure Saucy Supreme.” whose dam is the double Gold Medallist, “Reshure Nova Supreme.” The offering is in first-class condition and to breeders and dairymen in search of quality, good constitution, high-producing Jerseys, we have every confidence in recommending these bulls.
