Enter Mukden, Harbin
(Rec. 1.15 p.m.) LONDON, Aug. 20. A Russian communique states that troops of the Ist Far Eastern Command occupied Harbin. Troops of the Transbaikal Command captured Mukden. In the southern part of the island of Sakhalin, Japanese troops have ceased resistance and have begun to surrender. The reception of capitulating formations of the Kwangtung army continues.
