(P.A ) WELLINGTON, This Day. The acting-Prime Minister (Hon. W. Nash) has received the following cable from Mr George Marsclen, mayor of St. Helens, England: “I am deeply touched and St. Helens is profoundly grateful for New Zealand's remembrance of one of its most illustrious sons, ft. J. Seddon, who found fame and honoured memory in the public service of your great Dominion."
