Censorship Of Press News

(P.A.) WELLINGTON, This Day. In the House of Representatives yesterday afternoon, Mr R. G. Gerard (Oppn., 'Mid-Canterbury) gave notice to ask the acting-Prime Minister (Hon. W. Nash) when the Government intended to dispense with the censorship of press manuscripts cablegrams to Empire countries. Mr Gerard said he understood that mails addressed to Empire countries were not being censored, but that matter intended for publication was still subjected to censorship.
