Morton, Dennis Win Championship Pairs
The final of the Whangarei Bowling Club’s championship pairs was played on Saturday between L. Morton and E. Den nis and D. Eumbal and J. H. Marwick, the former pair winning by the comfortable margin cf 21 points to 9. Morton and Dennis wall represent the Whangarei club in the champion of champions to be held at Portland next Saturday. The champion singles has not yet been finalised, N. Macnay and J. H. Marwick meeting in, the final during this week. A further round of the percentage fours was concluded on Saturday, the weather being fine and the green in first-class order. Games ■ resuLted: —
