Girls 9 Life Brigade Boys ? Brigade Record Year of Progress

The Presbyterian Girls’ Life Brigade and the Boys’ Brigade held a combined annual demonstration and prize-giving ceremony this year. An excellent programme, setting out the various activities of the brigade, was presented, and it was much enjoyed by parents and friends. Captain Joyce Plaisted was heartily congratulated upon the good work done by her since tlii' inception of the brigade, and Lieutenant Lily McNaughion also came in for warm appreciation. Corporal Vincent Appleton, who has been in command of the Boys’ Brigade since the officers left; on active service, was congratulated upon the excellent manner in which lie had carried out his duties, assisted by ether non-coms, their aid having saved lhe brigade from going into recess.
