Mr. D. W. Strong, first assistant at the Whau Valley primary school, has been appointed to a war-time position as first assistant in the primary division of the Suva Grammar School and leaves to take up his new appointment at the begining of next year. This appointment is made under an arrangement between the New Zealand Education Department and the Government of Fiji. Mr. Strong has been first assistant at the Whau Valley School for the past six years, prior to that being on the staff of the Whangarei school.
