(Ree. 1.30 p.m.) NEW YORK, Nov. 30. An American Federation of Labour Convention at New Orleans opposed any hasty, ill-considered plan of universal military conscription of youth after (he war. The convention suggested that President Roosevelt appoint a representative of the national committee of all parties and sections to make a thorough study of recommendations. The convention re-elected Mr Green as president.
