Startling Advances By Japs In China
(Rec. 11.30 a.m.) CHUNGKING, Nov. 30. Japanese vanguards have made startling advances inside Kweichow province towards Kweiyang, junction point of the highway network linking Chunking, Kunming and other south-west China cities This was revealed when a 14th Air Force communique announced that fighters had strafed cavalry troops on the Pa-chai-Tukiang road on Tuesday, indicating that the Japs had cut through or outflanked some Chinese units defending Kweiyang. Pachai is 05 miles south-east-wards.
