A complete set of te Luftwaffe’? latest night-seeing apparatus in perfect condition has been obtained from a plane in which a German flying-offi-cer, Captain Gerdes. escaped to Sweden. states the Stockholm correspondent of the “Daily Mail.” It is only in the experimental stages and is the first to fall into non-German hands. This is reported to be a bitter blow to the German Air, Ministry which has been working on the invention for years and was relying on it to cause a surprise this winter.
