First Wool Appraisal

(Special) AUCKLAND, This Day. Results of the first Auckland wool appraisal of the 1944-45 season, held in July and August, wore announced by the secretary of the Auckland Wool Brokers’ Association (Mr J. E. Connor) today. These showed that 4638 bales of r net weight of 1,681,3491bs were appraised. The total value and average price per bale was £l3/11/- and per lb, B.9Gd. At the corresponding appraisement last season, 3900 bales of a total value of £52,215 were handled The next appraisal in Auckland is scheduled to open on November 15.
