Atom Bombs: New Weapon

Detailed reports reaching neutral scientists and Allied experts in Sweden, agree that atom bombs, the new secret weapon that German scientists are rushing to produce before Germany is defeated, have already been made experimentally in considerable numbers, stales‘the Stockholm correspondent of the “Daily Mail.” The general principle of the new weapon which is nicknamed “Atomb,” is that an electric shock splits tin- atom, if and when the missile reaches the target. Several major accidents are believed to have occurred with “Alombs" which have killed hundreds of workers.
