Whangarei, Bay Rep. Teams
The following team has been selected to represent Whangarei senior reps, against the Bay of Islands senior reps, at Rugby Park on Saturday, at 2.30 p.m. Backs: R. Barber; L. Cooney, G. Cunningham., J. James, A. Henry, G. H. Hook, G. S. Thorpe, R. White. Forwards: M. G. Bennett. J. Cunningham. E. Griffin, N. Griffin, M. Jones, W. Martin, B. McConnell, S. Philips, S. Proctor.
The provision of a suitable curtain raiser to commence at 1.15 p.m. will be considered tit a meeting of the management committeee of the Whangarei Rugby Union this evening. The Bay Team The Bay of Islands rep. selector (Mr. Basil Lloyd), has chosen the followingteam to play Whangarei:— Fullback: Johnny Rado (Okaihau); threequarters, B. Cherrington (Moerewa), K. Pearson (Kaikohe), D. Padlie (Kaikohet; five-eighths: P. Smith (Kaikohe). W. Dalton (Kaikohe); halfback: C. Bruce (Kaikohe); front row: Tunuti (Okaihau). Bradley (Mcercwa). S. Pausina (Kaikohe); second row: Campbell (Moerewa). Jerry Rado (Okaihau), P. Brown (Kaikohe), P. Marsh iKaikoke); back row: G. Wistrand (Okaihau). Reserves—Backs: Edwards (Moerewa), C. Heta (Moerewa); forwards: W. Andrews (Kaikohe). Wi Paddie (Kaikohe). " Peter Smith will be captain and Jerry Rado vice-captain.
