New World League Soon
WASHINGTON, August 17. Senator Connally. in an interview, revealed that the forthcoming post-war security talks would be followed within a fortnight by “real conferences on a higher level.” He predicted that a treaty providing for world organisation would be achieved by the autumn. “We aim to have a league of nations or whatever you want to call it, before the end cf the.war.” he said.
