Jacobs Re-elected As President Of R.S.A.

Four of five members elected to the Dominion executive of the R.S.A. by the annual conference are men returned from the present war. Mr. B. J. Jacobs was re-elected president and others elected were: Dominion vice-president, Mr. C. O. Bell, Wellington. District vice-presidents. Mr. A. D. Postlewaite, Auckland: Mr. B. Malone, Waikato-Bay of Plenty; Mr. A. H. Menton, Wellington - Taranaki - West Coast; Mr. C. B. Menzies, WellingtonEast Coast; Mr. C. Walker, Canlerbury-Nelson-Marlborough-Westland; Mr. W. B. Shelton, Otago-Southland. Hon. treasurer, Mr. J. D. Harper, Wellington. Dominion executive committee, Messrs. W. E. Leadley, Auckland; C. E. Holmes. Waikato-Bay of Plenty; H. B. Burdekin, Wellington-West CoastTaranaki; P. H. C. Bennett, WeilingtonEast Coast; C. A. liaydon, Canterbury-Nelson-Marlborough-Westland; E. C. Hale, Otago-Southland; T. J. Taylor, W. C. Haydon, R. Fenton, E. F. Willcox. C. J. Tustin. Representative on N.Z.E.F. Canteen and Regimental Fund Board, Colonel M. Aidred. Representative on New Zealand Farmers’ Union, Mr. W. Horrobin.
Appreciative reference was made to the work of Mr. C. W. Batten and Mr. A. T. Duncan, two retiring members of the executive who had intimated that they would not be eligible for reelection.
