LONDON, April .’lO During recent patrols in northern waters, submarines sank a tanker of medium size and severely damaged a large tanker, states an Admiralty communique. Tin*, medium tanker was attacked off .St. Lattdel. it was torpedoed and blew up and sank. The large tanker was part ot a. convey proceeding south-east of Stavanger tinder escort. A large supply ship was torpedoed in tile approaches to the skaggerak, and a Herman catapult ship, the Schwabenland, of SO ID Inns, was severely damaged by a torpedo.
