(Special) LONDON, April 27. ■ The Ministry for Food stated that it had received a cable from their representative in Australia and New Zealand (Mr Bankes Amery) stating that the New Zealand Meat Board had carried a resolution assuring the New Zealand farmers’ utmost effort to increase meat production as far as possible. A Ministry official said: “Britishers will appreciate this further example of the New Zealand farmers’ efforts to keep them adequately fed. We cannot give figures, but we will get a substantial proportion of our mutton from them.’’
