(P.A.) WELLINGTON, Monday. The Governor-General (Sir Cyril Newall) has received from Princess Elizabeth the following reply to a message sent on the occasion of her birthday: “I am most grateful for the kind message you sent on my birthday on behalf of the Government and peoples of New Zealand, its island territories and Western Samoa. I deeply appreciate their kind thoughts. —Elizabeth.”
