Future Of Hungary

(Rec. 2.30 p.m.) LONDON, April 23 The Hungarian National Council, headed by Count Michael Karolye, former Prime Minister of Hungry, who has been living in exile for 25 years, was formed in London after a conference between three Hungarian associations in Britain. The conference resolved that the Hungarian National Council abroad would not recognise Hungarian occupation of the subCarpathian and Yugoslav territories. It demanded nunishment of Admiral Horthy as Hungarian war criminal No. 1. The Council urged immediate peace negotiations.

The Exchange Telegraph says it is stated that the Council is not an exile Government, but created to represent the interests of the Hungarian people abroad, and constitute a bridge for understanding after the war. between the Hungarian nation and its Slav neighbours.
