Letters To Prisoners Who Are Now In Switzerland

LONDON, April 21. It is announced by the PostmasterGeneral (Hon. P. Webb), that in future letters for prisoners of war who had escaped to Switzerland from Italian prison camps should, in cases in which the present addresses of men concerned are not known, be addressed to “Camp Internment Militaire, Wil, St. Gallen, SwitzerlandX’ and not care of the High Commissioner for New Zealand, London, as formerly advised. The'Minister stated that on the other hand, in cases in which letters have been received from men who escaped„to Switzerland .from Italy, and whose letters bear the addresses of the writers, the addresses given by the writers should be used when replying. 1 ■ i
