Heavy Auckland Rain
(P.A.) AUCKLAND, This Day. The heaviesl downpour of recenl months, yesterday afternoon flooded roads and streets in Auckland city and suburbs ad an electrical storm caused interruption of power services. In some areas there was miner flooding of shops and basements, but no major damage. The rainfall of 1.10 inches, fell almost entirely between 3 and 6 o’clock, with several lulls.
