Rename Russian Towns

(Rec. 11 a.m.) LONDON, Feb. 24. A decree has been published officially renaming five towns near Leningrad, says Reuter’s Moscow correspondent. Slutsk becomes Palvolsk and Krasnovardeisk becomes Gatchina. Both are pre-revolutionary names. Tlie other three places drop the German names for Russian ones. Schusselburg becomes Petrokrepost, Peterhof becomes Petrodvorets, and Dudeerhof becomes Nagornoe. Leningrad workers’ organisations requested the changes.
