Murder Attempt Alleged
(P.A.) PAHIATUA, This Day. Charged with the attempted murder of Godfrey Neville Green, a farm manager at Pori, 20 miles from Pahiat.ua, on January 17. William Robert Alfred Hollis, aged Cl, farm manager, appealed on remand before Mr. H. P. Lawry, S.M.. in the Pahiatua Magistrate's Court yesterday.. The charge was a sequel to n shooting affray at Pori on January 17. Evidence for the prosecution was given by Green, his wife (Bessie M. Green), and their daughter (Audrey Green), and several police witnesses. Accused, who pleaded not guilty, was committed for trial at the SupremeCourt at Palmerston -.North cn May 1.
