Buying Schedule For Baconers Increased

Advice to the effect that as from today’s killings, the following increases in North Island buying schedules for baconers become effective, has been received by the secretary of Northland District Fig Council (Mi C. P. Eutler) from the Primary Industries Controller (Mr Fawcett): — F'irst quality baconers: 1211 b to 175 lb, 6:Jd per lb; 1761 b to 1851 b, 6d: 1861 b to 2001bs, sd. Second quality baconers: 1211 bto 1751 b, 6 3-3 d; 1761 bto 1851 b, 5 5-8 d; 1861 b to 2001 b, 4 5-Bd. Choppers remain at present prices, states Mr Fawcett. The changes in schedule necessitate the grading of overweight baconers separately from choppers. The prices are on hooks at works nearest port of shipment.
