Cricket At Waipapakauri
(Spec.) KAITAIA. This Day. An Air Force eleven beat Kaitaia in a single innings match played at Waipapakauri on Saturady. Air Force made 188 runs, but Kaitaia could only collect /9. Top scorer for Air Force was Saunders who made 70 before he retired. Apart from one chance when he was nearly run out, he did not look like being shifted.. Bowling for Air Force Rider took 7 wickets for 29 runs. For Kaitaia top scorers were: Findlay 25, Sowter 24, Mackintosh 16.
