Pleasure Boats For N.Z. Soldiers On Leave

(P.A.) AUCKLAND. This Day. A fleet of small boats to be sent for use of New Zealand troops on leave in the Pacific, is being formed in Auckland, an effort to assemble the boats having begun six months ago. Boats wanted are of small type, easy to handle and ship. So far 12 have been obtained in the Waitemata and put in good sailing condition. Contributions towards the cost were raised largely by social functions.
