Mrs. Annie McLean

OBITUARY

Resident of the Whangarei district for a number of years, Mrs. Annie McLean, wife of the late Mr. Dcciald McLean, has died at a private hospital in Auckland, at the age of 76 years. Eorn in Waipu, Mrs. McLean was the youngest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. A. McMillan, settlers of the Waipu district. Upon her marriage to Mr. McLean, who predeceased her about 10 years ago, she moved to Three Mile Bush Road, Kamo, where Mr. McLean was engaged in farming and contracting. Shortly afterwards, Mr. and Mrs. McLean gave up their residence at Kamo and acquired property at Maunu, where Mrs. McLean remained until her husband’s death, after which she lived with her daughter in Auckland. During her residence in Whangarei, she was a regular attender at the Whangarei Presbyterian Church, and took active interest in ail church activities. Mi’s, McLean is survived by a daughter (Mrs. J. Gcb'ert, of St. Helier's Bay).
