To Survey Relief Needs Of United Nations

(8.0. W.) RUGBY. January 17. The British-American-Canadian Co - bined Production and Resources Board has formed a textile committee to survey wartime and relief requirements of the United Nations, and to allocate the capacity of each producing country accordingly. Members of the committee are industrial specialists in textile goods. The British member is the director of the Manchester Chamber of Commerce (Colonel W. A. Grierson), and the United States member is the president of Wellington, Sears and Co., of New York (Mr. H. L. Bailey), manufacturers of heavy cotton goods. Canada is represented by the president of Courtauld’s (Canada, Ltd.). Mr. S. GDixon.
