Northern Bowling
(Special* KAIKOHE, This Day. A progressive tourney was held on the Kaikohe Bowling Club’s green over the week-end. Winning skip was J. Kosovich and the winning lead T. Wadsworth. Next Bay of Islands bowling fixture of consequence will be the Buxton Shield play at Kawakawa on Anniversary Day, when rinks from Kawakawa. Kaikohe, Kaitaia, Rawene and Russell will compete. The Kaitaia Club’s Easter tournament will provide the next highlight following the Buxton Shield games.
