Garrisoning Germany, Japan After War
WASHINGTON, January 16. The “Army and Navy Journal” asserts that Mr. Churchill, Marshal Stalin and President Roosevelt at Teheran, considered post-war occupation of Germany with each ally garrisoning one-third of the country 7. The British and American leaders and Marshal Chiang Kai-shek, also discussed garrisoning of Japan by China. Duraticn of military controls was dependent on further conversations of the Big Four.
