Educational Crossroads Reached, Principal Says

(Special) AUCKLAND, This Day. “We are at the crossroads in education today,” said the principal of the Auckland Training College (Mr D. M. Rae) in an address at the breaking-up ceremony of the Otahuhu Technical High School. "Parents are somewhat perplexed at the comments of leaders of education prophesying all kinds of education disasters ahead,” he said. “I would like to reassure them with the belief that the changes are mostly beneficial, and to say that I have no. fears of the future.”

He said he was enthusiastic about proposed new subjects, especially music, arts and crafts and heajth education.
