Owhiwa School Concert
On Saturday, a very successful concert was given by the pupils of the above school. The items included songs, folk dances, recitations, and a play, “The Spell.” A competition was held for the visitors, first prize going to Mrs.. V. Beasley and second prize to Miss G. Davies. During the interval, gifts and prizes were distributed by the head teache? (Mrs. Powell) as follows:— Drawing (senior): E. Timperley 1; junior, A. Beasley 1. Bush collection, senior: E. Timperley 1.
