Italian Workers Pledge Aid For Democracy
(8.0. W., 1.30 p.m.) RUGBY, Dec. 13. Following the abolition of the Fascist co-operative syndicate system which has prevailed since 1926, a delegation representing workers of Naples and district, according to a war correspondent with the Fifth Army, today handed Colonel Hine, regional civil affairs officer for the Allied military Government of Naples province, a message addressed to the workers of America, Britain and Russia proclaimihg the opening of a new era. The message went on: "It is our high hope to collaborate with you and produce, side by side with you, those arms which will hasten the moment in which the enemy and barbarism shall be totally destroyed.” ... i, •'
