Found Bottle Of Beer In Car Near Dance Hall
' Control of intoxicating liquor in the vicinity of the Parochial Hall, where he was attending a dance, was charged against William John Gracie in the Whangarei Gourt, Mr. L. A. Johnson pleading guilty on his behalf. Senior-Sergeant A. Henderson said that Constable H. S. Lindsay had found a bottle of beer in Gracie’s car near the hall.'"' ■ 1 Mr. Johnson said that Gracie had not known the bottle of beer was in the car. He and his'wife"had looked in the car previously. A fine of £3 and costs was imposed by the magistrate (Mr. Raymond Femer).
