Private A. Forbes
ROLL OF HONOUR
Advice has been received by Mrs T. Harman, of Maungatapere, that her brother, Private A. Forbes, has been killed in action in Italy. Born at Portland 22 years ago, Private Forbes, when eight, years of age, came to Wha.ngarei. After receiving his educataion, he took up farming and for some years was in the Whajogerei district. Three years ago. upon the death of his mother, he went to Auckland. Enlisting later, he left New Zealand three months ago. Mrs E. Raisbeck, of Hikurangi, is another sister.
