Over 160 Killed In Calcutta Air Raid
(Rec. 1.3 C p.m.) NEW DELHI, Dec. 6. Referring to the Japanese air raid on Calcutta yesterday, a communique says that “it is considered in the public interest to reveal the extent to which civilian personnel, as compared with military personnel, suffered in the raid. Military casualties were one killed and 13 wounded, whereas there were about 500 civilian casualties, of which more than one-third were fatal.”
