Housing Shortage In Australia Is Grave
CANEERRA, This Day. Australia's housing shortage is so grave that the Government may be forced to amend its policy of banning home building until after the war. Some Federal Ministers believe that provision will have to be made quickly for civilian accommodation, irrespective of war demands. The Commonwealth Housing 'Commis- • sion has temporarily ceased taking evidence.
