OBITUARY
j After a short illness, Mr. Percival] ; Mi! ward, of Waipu. died at a private j I hospital in Whangarei at the age of; 71. | Born in Malden, in Surrey, about 12; !miles from London, he went to Arne-] rica at the age of 17, and was cm-, ployed in U.S.A. and Canada for 18 years. Thirty-six years ago he came to , New Zealand. a< first leasing a farm at Waipu Cove, but later purchasing ]a farm at Finlayson’s 'Brook, Waipu. j where he resided until his death. ] Though of a quiet retiring nature, he ; was most considerate and his useful ; services and kindly actions to his neighbours were appreciated. ]' Surviving him is his wife, Mrs. D. •;Milward. and a brother in England.
