Young Woman’s Body Under Princes Wharf

About 10.10 this morning the body of a- young woman, found under Princes Wharf, was recovered by the police and taken to the morgue. The body, which that of a woman about 20 years, had not long been in the water. It was clothed except for undergarments. Earlier, discovery was made at 2.30 a.m. of a woman’s hat and bag on the launch steps near Queen’s Wharf Whether these belonged to the woman whose body was found is a matter that had not been definitely ascertained e'arly this atfernoon by detectives assigned to the inquiry. It was learned today that a woman who lives in Mount Eden last night reported to city police that her daughter. aged about 20, who was employed at a city clothing factory bad not returned home.
