Divorce Validation Bill
(P.A.) WELLINGTON. This Pay. V private bill, the Morris Divorce and Marriage Validation Bill was introduced in Parliament, by Mrs. Stewart. The Bill dissolves as from December 21. Dili, Die marriage of Ida Mildred Morris and Percy Campbell Parker Morris, formerly of. Wellington and Motuoka, and vandates the marriage of the latter, now deceased, and Victoria Alicia Kamsav. The Attorney-General (Mr. Mason) said that the husband had secured a decree nisi many years ago and later he was killed, and the right of the widow m bring action for compensation was cnailonged because the decree had never been made absolute. The Bill would establish validity of the divorce, validate there marriage ancl legitimacy of the lamiiy and give rights to compensation.
