Mrs J. Vulctich and Mr. M. Guthrie wore the prize-winners of progressive euchre at liie Ruakaka social evening. Mr. Huband, Misses G. I .yon and Gillingham provided dance music. Mr. F. Batten was M.C. Personal Miss G. Lvon has returned from an extended holiday in Ctonga ancl Maungataoere. Mr. and Mrs. A. Sharpe have taken up residence in Ruakaka. . . , Mr j c. Paterson was recently visited by iris daughter, Mrs Spence, of Te Awamutu. , . . Miss Ruth Farnham has been staying at “Ekomoana,” Ruakaka. Mr. G. Lyon spent a few days at Maungatapere as the guest of Mr. and Mrs. R. E. F. Hailes.
