Kaitaia Rehabilitation Schemes

Representatives of the local oodles and the R.S.A. who met at the council chambers on Wednesday to discuss a rehabilitation scheme for the Mangonui County, have decided to call a public meeting' on Friday August 6. at 11 a.m. at the Masonic Hall, Kaitaia. All the local bodies have been asked to make suggestions for work in their area suitable for inclusion in a rehabilitation scheme, and the meeting is being called to enable anyone interested to make suggestions. The representatives present hope that the attendance will be a large one and that as a result of suggestions, a comprehensive scheme will be evolved, to the benefit of the county as a whole.
